My Life is back to Normal

Hello all,
Well, Paddy has gone back to the rescue - both D and C were very very sad - he needs a checkup with his Eye Specialist and maybe we will see him again soon.  D and C are not very good foster carers as they have one foster dog and want to keep him.  I should not have behaved so well - I should have been more bossy.  We think he enjoyed himself - he loves his walkies - here he is with his Lurcher (greyhound) and collie pals - I am very fond of the big lurcher - his name is Charlie - and I like him a lot!

We brought him back to the Rescue and he settled back in nicely - after a few cuddles - he settled on the couch.

I was not so relaxed - although they were wonderful to me at the Rescue and they found me such a good home - I am not entirely comfortable being there.  So I spent most of the time stuck to D or C's legs.

D thinks he has been a good influence on me - but how is that possible?  I have always been perfect, no?

So my life has gone back to normal - we are back home and I went walkies this morning - and thought I would show you the lovely daffodils in our park.  Spring is definitely here - and I am looking forward to the bluebells arrival.  Will post photos when they are in bloom - they are BEAUTIFUL

Well, all that excitement at the Fox Terrier Rescue brings me to the Fox Terrier Fun Walk we are organising on the 19th of April, 2009 in Stanmer Park (Brighton).  It is the first Fox Terrier Fun Walk and we are hoping it will be a success.  I might even get to meet my pal Jackson finally!  We will try and get some of the rescues there if we can - they will deserve a fun day out.
Go to the website and check the details out - hopefully they can get a good crowd and have all the Fox Terriers strut their stuff.

We will of course take lots of photos -

Lots of licks
Sally

  4. Ciao dolce Sally!

You look utterly divine posed in that field of daffodils. Giallo is so becoming to your fair coloring!

I don't blame your mama and papa for wanting to keep Paddy -- he's quite a cutie. But don't be envious, cara Sally, because I'm sure your mama and papa love you lots and lots, too!

I can't wait to see the bluebells!

    Tanti baci!

  9. Hey, Sally!

I'm sure Paddy really loved being your foster brother (how could he NOT?)! Keep us posted on how his check up goes and when he gets a furrever home.

You do look a little freaked out in that photo by your... is that your mama with the pink Chuck Taylor Converse shoes? Any way, glad you got to see that you can go to the shelter and still go back home with your peeps!

Hope the fun walk is a LOT of fun and that you get to meet Jax!

    Goober love & smooches,
    Stanley

  11. Good Morning Sally:

Maybe after Paddy has he checkup he can come back and stay with you...We understand D&C expectations just have to adjust your thinking...Fosters will always steal your hearts but once you meet the new family who needs your foster you have to remember what's best for him....And just cause they find there furever home doesn't mean you can't see them or visit...You forever have help change lives and your love is something they will always remember..

Very pretty flowers ...can't wait to see the pics from your walkie...Be sure to get CLOSEUP pics of Jackson - he's our George Clooney...

  12. We stopped over from Travis' blog. We hope that Paddy gets all fixed up and finds a furever home; amybe even as a failed foster. That's what our rescues call it when a foster ends up staying with the foster family. Our Sophie is a failed foster and we're kinda glad she flunked because she fits in well here and belongs with us. Our freind Gussie who lives in Memphis with his muzzer and Teka is a WFT like you; you should visit his blog at http://gowithgus.blogspot.com

  15. Hi! We'd join the walk, if we could! We're two rescue wires living in Colorado, and we've just started a new blog. We stumbled on yours and noticed it right away! We've added you to our blog list. Hope that's okay. Let us know if you'd rather we not.

We love the name Sally (that's Mom's name, too!)
