Paddy Power!

Hello all,

Just a quick update - as you know Paddy has had a lot of problems lately with his eye - he had an ulcer that would not heal.  So he had to go back to have his eye operated on at the Animal Health Trust  - we did not want him to be in pain all the time and this was the only option.  Here is a picture of him with his eye doctor Marian

She was a very nice doctor and she was very patient with D and C.  D kept asking a lot of questions, sending emails and calling - but the doctors understood that she was worried for Paddy and wanted to make sure everything was ok.  But why worry?  Paddy is a tough little boy and with all the support of family and friends, he has made a full recovery!  No more pain!

We are participating in Jake and Fergi's 2nd Annual Worldwide moment - because Life is made of a lot of tiny miracles and we believe that if we all get together - we can make a difference.  The power of the paw has helped Paddy in the past and we know it can help other furries and their humans

We will be participating - hope you will too.

Lots of licks
Sally

  1. We are just about to curl up under the covers for the night ... it's gonna be colder here than it's been since prob'ly April. But now we are all warm and cozy inside knowing that Paddy has done so well since his eye surgery!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That makes us happier than you can prob'ly imagine! We'll have sweet dreams realizing he's not in pain anymore and we'll CERTAINLY send him waves of best wishes and loving support (for you, too, Sweet Sally) on Sunday! Just think. At that very moment, we'll both be thinking about EACH other! So cool!

    Love and hugs.
    Time for bed!

  12. We so wish you could go on some of those hikes with us. We think of you all the time.

AND ... the pretty pink bauble has just moved from its year-round place on the hutch, to the Christmas season place on the dining room table. We love it today just as much as when it arrived. Straight from you. Over the pond.

    Much love

  18. Glad to know that you're fully recovery now!! Having an ulcer on the eyes is really a pain!! One of our mumster friend own a pekingese who had an ulcer on her eyes and yet to recovery for years now. She likes to push her eyes on any sharp things she could find and use it to ease her itchy-ness. Since you're getting better in no time, I bet you're one good fella who knows how to get better in no time!
